Within the first week of its release, I saw "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince" three times! THREE TIMES!!!! That's the most I've ever seen a film in theaters. I saw it first during the midnight premeire. The film was excellent, so I had to see it again. On Thursday, my brothers and I, accompanied by our friends, went to see HP6. Most of them enjoyed it, while I felt satisfied after seeing it twice. However, this past Saturday another friend was seeing it for the first time and invited me, so I went along. Wow, what a great film. I beleive it was more faithful to the book than the fifth was, plus it added in great moments of humor and action while playing up the characters' romantic feelings and the dark sense of danger that the wizarding world has found itself under. Three times in theaters may be enough for me, though. I love Harry Potter, but the overexposure to the new film might end up killing me. I do not regret seeing it three times, however. Each viewing only made me appreciate more and more how awesome the film is and how psyched I now am for the two part Deathly Hallows adaptation in 2010 and 2011.
